Way Down The Rainbow is an Alternative Rock band from Norway formed in 2016 that play passionate music with mental health in focus. From left to right is Jostein, James, Diego, Peter, and Jonatan.
“We met as young, naive and inexperienced 16 year olds after starting at the same high school. We got together and jammed every single school break, and got together after school to play.” - Peter
After performing our first school show, we immediately fell in love with it. Peter convinced his brother Jonatan to start at the same school and join the band. He was working as a mechanic, but after a serious incident where he almost cut off his finger, he quit his job and took up high school with the band. “The school was more of a meeting ground and we would often ditch classes to make music.” Only one member finished high school.

Expression of the most intense feelings, chaos, beauty, passion. Expression of the deepest darkest pains and the lightest sweetest joy. It is real, there is no bullshit, all just human experience, love, understanding, and mutual human respect for each other.
